The oil refinery consists of interconnected units. Managing them separately is difficult and inefficient. Therefore, at the CJSC “KPC” refinery, all process management is concentrated in one place, and automation enhances control efficiency.

Each unit is a complex of equipment. Sensors are installed on different parts of it, constantly collecting data about specific parameters.

The data from the sensors are transmitted in real time to the operators of the Production Control Center.

Thus, specialists remotely monitor and, if necessary, adjust the operation of the unit. If there is a deviation from the set parameters, a light and sound alarm is triggered.

Sensors transmit information not only about the performance of the units but also about environmental parameters.
